Boo-boo kits for the Modern Minuteman
Most store bought first aid kits tend to fall way short of their promise. Usually packed with cheap bandaids, a square of gauze, and some ointment and little else. So for years many of us in this community that are serious about med gear have always put our own kits together. And if you are active in the field like we are, you tend to use your “Boo-boo kit” quite a bit. Cuts, scrapes, splinters, blisters, sore muscles, bugs, sun, thorns, and so much more are more often encountered than gunshots and stabbings. So why is it so hard to find a proper basic first aid kit for actual users? Well let me show you 2 kits put together by actual users that I think ticks all the right boxes for us folks in the field!
