and yet most still don't see it...

If you are surprised by the violent Islamic attacks taking place over the last few days, read this:

You are surprised because no-one has ever taught you the doctrine.

Not your school, not the news, and not the Christian church. Here is the history you have never been taught.

In 1788 Thomas Jefferson and John Adams sat across from the ambassador of Tripoli and asked why their ships were seizing American sailors and selling them into slavery. America had never attacked a Muslim nation.

The Tripoli Ambassadors answer is diplomatic record. It was “written in the Quran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found.”

Two hundred and fifteen years later nineteen men with box cutters murdered 2,977 Americans and left behind letters quoting Quran 8:12.

“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve.”

The theology did not evolve. The West simply stopped paying attention.

Here is what most Christians have never been told. The Quran has a chronology.

The peaceful verses came out of Mecca, when Muhammed had no army. The violent ones came out of Medina, after he had an army.

And Islam has a doctrine for the contradiction. Abrogation (the official and legal ending, canceling, or repealing of a law, agreement, or duty). Later revelation cancels earlier revelation. Surah 9 is among the last chapters revealed, and Ibn Kathir counted roughly 124 verses it abrogates.

The peaceful Islam you have been sold is the canceled Islam.

Then look at what the doctrine produced.

Muhammed dies in 632. By 638 the Byzantine army is destroyed at Yarmuk. Jerusalem falls. Egypt falls. All of North Africa falls. By 732 they are at the gates of France.

All in one century.

So ask yourself why you don’t picture the Middle East as a Christian place. Jesus Christ was born there. The Church was born there. Antioch, Alexandria, the North Africa of Tertullian, Cyprian and Augustine. Roughly 250 dioceses are erased.

And the Christians who survived did not live free. They lived as dhimmis (historical term for non-Muslims living in an Islamic state) under the Pact of Umar.

Pay the jizya (historical per capita yearly tax levied by Islamic states on permanent non-Muslim subjects). No new churches. No repairs. No bells. No public worship. No evangelism. No raining a hand against a Muslim.

Second class by law. That system has a name and it never went away.

“But that is ancient history.”

Armenia, 1915. A million and a half Christians exterminated.

Before invading Poland, Hitler is reported to have advised his generals “who speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?”

He was counting on the world forgetting, and it did.

And where Islam lacks the strength for open force, the doctrine has a second setting. Taqiyya (meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly). Surah 3:28 and 16:106 permit concealing your faith and your intent. Strength brings the sword. Weakness brings the smile. The objective never moves.

Islam did not change, the West did.

The watchman who sees the enemy coming and does not sound the alarm is not compassionate, he is complicit.

Wake up. Learn the doctrine. Stop asking permission to say it out loud.

It’s not what you think.

Islam is incompatible with the West.
