I love LPVO's I have them on all my AR's besides my 10.5" pistol which has a simple red dot and back up irons. My 16" has a Vortex 1-4. My 18" has a 1-8. And my AR-10 has a 2-10. I even have a Vortex 2-6 Rimfire LPVO on my Ruger 10/22.
All good for close up and plenty of reach for my needs.
