I'M EMBARRASSED TO TAKE A CLASS BECAUSE I HAVE CONDOR GEAR...
The IG Bro Vets told me it's not good enough...
This was shared on NC Scouts Twitter (X) page from someone that was feeling as though his gear wasn’t going to make the cut in an upcoming class…
What the fuck are we doing to each other as a community when guys make other guys feel this way? I’ve had guys tell me in comments on videos that I was going to die in a firefight because I was wearing a Chicom chest rig and I wouldn't be able to do speed reloads or that I’d die because I was wearing blue jeans. I mean shit, the last war the US “won” was WWII. Dudes in pajamas, flip flops, and chicom rigs have defeated us in places such as Vietnam and Afghanistan wielding rifles that “we’ve” claimed can’t hit the side of a barn. But yet they’ve pushed out superior forces with just the basics and antiquated gear.
We need to quit doing this to guys in our community. The push should be fitness, training, and mindset over gear. Those of you who are out training with basic gear like Condor, OneTigris, or older military surplus, good on you. Consider yourself in the top 1% of those who can and do. If you’re rocking a surplus AK or SKS, maybe an older Bushmaster AR or, gasp, a BCA AR, or shit even a .22 or Bubba 30-06, th3n God love ya. Train with that kit and rifle and become a total machine with them.
Go be a man amongst men and flip a giant middle finger to the haters and naysayers.
Looking for solid, reliable gear that we can all afford? I personally use and feel confident in recommending the gear listed in my Campsite Bio. I’m one of you guys and if what I’m using in the field is working for me then it will work for you too…
I know this all to well people talking crap nothing wrong with condor god bless thos who at least show up and try there best or to the best of there abilities
Instead of focusing on actually having gear, and knowing how to effectively run it, FAR too many focus on the "brand"/"kind" of gear they have or others have.
