I'm a guy so 99% of the time I go "shopping" I have a specific list and I try to get in and out as quickly as possible. That said, there are a few times where I'm going to actually take the time to compare items and spend more time in the store ( if they even have the items I'm looking for). Unfortunately most of the stores are on the "convenient" south side of town (I live north of town) so I have to deal with traffic before I even get there. I have walked out of stores several times due to rude people/staff.

I agree with you. The malls and restaurants are not what they used to be. I have noticed the same thing the last couple of years. Service is terrible and people don't seem to care for others. The times are getting worse and worse. As I traverse this life, I realize that, as a Christian that this life is temporary.

I shun all malls as much as I can. Another reason is the nearest mall is 38 mi away and the next one is 65 mi away. As much as I dislike Bezos, I have to weigh the cost of gasoline into local purchases vs buying online.

Although there are not a lot of illegals in my area, only one with ill intent has to score whereas I have to watch 360 degrees at all times.

Actually, the older I get the less I want to be around people. The ones I see are very different in attitude than the ones I grew up around in the 60's.

Went to seatac four times this season, each time there were at least a couple hundred unacompanied hispanic looking young men standing around in small groups. Guess is the filth running this state are facilitating,

No shortage of "help" on bainbrige or mercer islands.

Point is if you don't get out & see what is happening you might get surrounded before you know it and have a snowballs chance.

I'll get out OK but only to places where my CC is honored.

Do as much shopping as you can online. Malls are a twisted relic of a time in history that is not coming back absent wholesale deportation and criminal reform.

Out here, in So.Az. malls are stomping grounds for young thugs! We avoid large gatherings of people if my awareness radar goes off. Being near the border in " bandit country" grocery store parking lots are a no go after sunset, when the fentanyl zombies come out along with other assorted alien invaders!

I have wide short feet, an Oregon duck resemblance. And buy American made New Balances. They cost a lot more, but they also have good life span and they come in EE width.

I was watching Equalizer rooting for the good guy last week, and noticed the hero of the story also had American made New Balances. but I don't think I get excited over them. I think its just what I chose after I learned about them.
